If your daughter has speed, agility, has played basketball, is very skilled at softball or volleyball, and IS COACHABLE flag football is another sport for HER! GIRLS are falling in love with the sport as soon as they hit the field as it takes football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, skills and makes them all lethal in one place! As the program that develops, encourages and trains the multisport athlete, we love to have a diverse roster of girls on every team who are motivated to be the best! Flag football is rapidly becoming the fastest-growing sport globally, with athletes ranging from 5 years to adults engaging in the game for fun and high-level competition. The 2028 Olympics will mark the debut of flag football as an official sport, showcasing the intensity of the athletes. NFL players have noted that they participate in flag football to maintain fitness for their seasons. Far from being the casual game of the past, flag football is a serious sport where young players are determined to make a mark and prepare for the grand stage.
Program Details
League Competition
Competition is a vital element of sports education, teaching important lessons in sportsmanship, humility, and respect. Our club team will engage in various leagues and tournaments throughout the valley. As opportunities emerge, we will create rosters suitable for each team, taking into account aspects such as training participation, preparedness, coachability, and experience. While no position is assured on any team, all teams will spend the year striving for the chance to play and enhance their abilities. Athletes who aim to compete at the highest level will find ample opportunities with our team. Follow our social media to find out when you can get you athlete out with one of our teams for a training.
Rules & Regulations
Vary by league and tournament. The various rules will include
NFL Flag, AIA, AZHS, USA Flag, Redzone Elite, and other leagues pr tournaments may have variations of the official rules. The Official programs that run National tournaments are NFL flag and USA flag. Please read the rules and be up to date on those of the league or tournament your athlete is playing in. Coaches & Directors review the rules of every competition regularly. We ask that all NXLA families take issues to Coach MO or Coach Vanessa, rather than speaking to league or tournament officials.
Mentorship
Many of our coaches have played football at the collegiate and professional level. They know what it takes to truly become a student of the game. One of our NX Level alumni is Isaiah Oliver. He is currently playing in the NFL for the NY Jets. Oliver, is one of our founders very own. Coach MO built this program based on his journey to the NFL with Isaiah. Isaiah is paying it forward whenever he can by coming home and mentoring young athletes. All of our coaches know the physical and mental challenges that come with playing football and are eager to pass their knowledge on to the young boys and girls of the West Valley. Additionally, our trained staff will mentor parents who are wanting to Coach at the NX LEVEL in order to grow the program. Tournament Teams
While all members will have the opportunity to play on our league teams; our tournament teams will be made up of our most talented athletes. We will offer a mini combine to evaluate which of our members will play on our tournament teams. We will do so several times a year; giving athletes a chance to improve and earn a spot on a team. The traits we are evaluating go beyond pure skill. We expect our athletes to always show a positive attitude, put forth great effort and stay on task and focused.
